THE STORY
The road is no stranger to this young man
Baylee Littrell is stepping into a new era defined by honesty, self-discovery, and a creative voice that’s more personal than ever. He earned national recognition on American Idol Season 23, where he immediately signaled his authenticity by auditioning with an original song. As the season progressed, Baylee deepened his connection with audiences, offering a genuine glimpse into the artist and the person he’s become. His performance of “Hey Jesus,” a song he wrote while going through some personal struggles and questioning his faith, became a defining moment on the show. During a time when he felt lost and disconnected from his beliefs, Baylee penned the song as a raw and vulnerable letter to Jesus. While the message of the song is universal, the song marked a pivotal moment in his own journey, bringing him back to a grounded sense of faith. Now released as the first single from his upcoming album, “Hey Jesus” sets the tone for the introspective, sonically diverse music to come.
From an early age, Baylee moved between creative worlds. He grew up on the road with his father, even introducing the Backstreet Boys on stage when he was just 4 years old. At 13, he made his Broadway debut in Disaster!, earning a Drama Desk nomination. These early experiences laid the foundation for a career that spans music, acting, and now visual art, reflecting a commitment to honesty and connection in every form.
Baylee released his debut single “Boxes” in 2019, followed by his first full-length album, 770-Country, in 2020, which he brought to life on stage opening for the Backstreet Boys on the DNA Tour across the U.S. and Canada. His 2022 EP, Vol. 1, featured all original material and showcased his ability to blend influences from indie, pop, country, and rock into something uniquely his. Alongside his music, Baylee has also established a growing presence in the visual arts, with his original paintings and illustrations revealing the same depth and emotional resonance as his songs.
Now, with a new album on the horizon and a renewed sense of creative clarity, Baylee Littrell is embracing this next chapter with music that’s authentic, unbound by genre, and rooted in acceptance, for both himself and others.
